How to play

In Fish Counting, children click on numbers to add fish to a virtual fish tank. After adding fish, they press the “Count” button to count them all. The game can be played in English and Spanish.

Benefits:
This game builds number recognition, one-to-one correspondence, and counting accuracy. The visual addition of fish helps children connect abstract numbers to concrete quantities. It’s especially effective for early learners who benefit from seeing and interacting with objects as they count.

How to Incorporate into Learning:
Use Fish Counting for Pre-K and Kindergarten math practice. Teachers can project it on a smartboard for group counting activities. Parents can sit with their child and count aloud together, reinforcing pronunciation and accuracy. Switch between English and Spanish modes to build bilingual number confidence.
